Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Assume Fort Lauderdale is made up of beaches, fancy hotels, restaurants, and stores? ..but also there is a state park just a five-minute Uber in the W Fort Lauderdale. There is also an open-concept pub and restaurant that is stocked with delicious regional beers.
When you arrive, visit Doc Crow’s Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar and purchase the beef short rib and pulled pork. If red meat is not something, Doc Crow’s has other wonderful options like grilled oysters and shrimp. Then, head into the Bulleit Bourbon distillery to fangirl over the bourbon that is rather a big deal around the world.
The group of natural rock formations resemble a waterfall and are topped with naturally-formed turquoise springs. From the Oaxacan mountains, you will find snake-like rock formations on the floor that fills with water, including the mysterious visuals of the place. The ledges are safer than they look in photos, but be cautious!
Great Exuma, Bahamas
The crystal clear water, soft white sand beaches, and swimming pigs are really not a scam. Book and trip with Island Adventures and explore the Caribbean sea through snorkeling adventures, scuba diving, or sitting on a sandbar.
Brooklyn, New York
Reserve a few nights at the hipster-chic Williamsburg resort, Urban Cowboy, and spend a long weekend exploring all of the boroughs have to offer. Must-sees include Brooklyn Bridge Park, John Street Park, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, and strolling Bedford Ave.
Laguna Beach, California
There is more to Lauren Conrad’s hometown compared to shore and giant malls. Laguna Beach is home to Laguna Canyon, which cuts through the San Joaquin Hills in southern Orange County. There you will find The Ranch in Laguna Beach, a golf resort and spa with killer views and plenty to do, such as hiking trips or just chillin’ by the pool.

Aero Island, Denmark
Denmark is not just about Copenhagen, even though it’s wonderful there also. It’s well worth getting out to the very small fairytale island of Aero for a complete change of scenery.
